I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.
Today will be a great day because we are having another sleepover this Sunday. I hope everyone has an amazing holiday and its not ruin. I'll be posting blogs like this because I enjoyed it. The next post is going to be about weekly words.

Today Miss D told us to record our blog data in google sheets so we can tell how many blogs we have done. After when I noticed that I haven't been posting at least 3 blog posts a week. I need to start posting 12 or more blog posts before the end of each month.
My sum is 93 this month because I haven't posted any in October, November or December so it's not that accurate. I will update you every month if I have time to. I'm really proud of myself because I reached 100 blog posts on 1 September 2019. You could go to that blog post, It's labeled 100 Blog Posts. Don't forget that we have another goal which is 200 blog posts before the end of term 2 in 2020.

Today I'm going to show you a game that I've been working for 10 days. Its an easy game to make but their lots of copy and paste and also their are some coding that you need to watch a tutorial because you'll get confused.
In the game there are a timer, lives and points. You get one live and you have to touch the milk but if you touch the edge you'll lose your life but you only have one life. You have to hold or touch the up arrow keys to turn 25. If you touch the edge you lose instantly.

Miss D taught us some of the main language features. We learnt about onomatopoeia, personification and hyperbole. I already know two language features which are metaphor and alliteration. We wrote some hyperbole poem, onomatopoeia and personification.
The sentences I'm going to show you are a mix of language features that we learnt. There are onomatopoeia, hyperbole and personification. If you can't find any language features please comment about it because I might have miss one language feature.
I hid under the living room table in fear because leaving the table was dangerous. The food was in front of my waiting to be eaten. My friends an family begged me to eat some food that was on the floor. They were munching it like crazy then the floor shook our whole world. Brrrm brrrm. They hesitated a little bit then ran as fast as they can. Some of them tried to escape but failed. I felt sad and mad and at the same time also felt like I was going to die the next day. I ran to the switch to turn it off so I will have time to get inside and save my friends and family. So I turned it off then ran inside the vacuum.
“I think I will get out of here on time.” I said to myself as I ran
I saw my friends and family in the dust like they are dead. In a big dust like they are bigger than Mt Everest. Their eyes look like that they turned into one whole thing. I think the giant is trying to suck us inside here and throw us away somewhere outside. I quickly grab them and made them back together getting dust and putting their eyes on. I told my friends to help me get them together and escape before they suck us back up. shhs I heard that the giant put the plug back in because it made a shock sound.
“Get out get out,” I yelled. “Make sure you don’t leave anyone behind,”
Everyone screamed and ran out of the vacuum. After when we got out the giant started the vacuum. I nearly got sucked in but my friend saved me. “Hey,” I said, “Let's get the giant because I think the giant is trying to get us out of this house.” We stand of the vacuum getting the attention of the giant. The giant was furious and got her cleaning brush. We turned on the vacuum Brrrm as we change to her sucking her inside the vacuum. Now the she will know how we feel about getting thrown away. She tried escaping but we just throw her out of the house while she was inside the vacuum.

Today I really need to post this because this Maths work is week 7. Its because I have a lot of work I have to do. I also have some Sunday school work because I keep over complicating bibles story's like Things are more complex in the past then now. Also it said the snakes have legs like a lizard but got it taken off. And how about the fossils about the old animals. such as Dinosaurs that wasn't mention. Thats why I need to get more research and I'm petty busy.
We have to design a Ta'ovala. This was for Samoan language week if I remember correctly. After when we made it we have to post it into our blog. I think you have to show the teacher before posting it because I posted later. Remember 50 views in weekly words if you want me to do it every week because I think next term its going to end.
