Today I've post 3 WWI blog post just in 1 day. Today this blog post will include the assassination and what the soldiers have to go through just to fight in the war for their country. Many bloody deaths happened and its quite tragic.

What’s an assassination? Assassination is an act of killing someone.
WWI was triggered by an assassination. Who was killed? Where was he killed? What was the date of his assassination? Franz Ferdinand was killed in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina June 1914.

3….Which 3 countries signed the Triple Entente in 1907? British Empire, France, and Russia.

Explain the function of each of the following places found in a trench: A trench is a safe spot for soldiers to sleep in and get ready to fight. It can keep them safe from fire but not mortars or artillery fire.
FIRESTEP: A ledge so soldiers could look over the top of the trench.
DUCKBOARDS: Plank laid over mud and floodwater.
DUGOUT: A small hole in the earth where soldiers could sleep
PARAPET: The front of the trench, made from sands or earth.

Which creatures carried diseases in the trenches? Trench Rats.
How many KMs of trenches had been dug by the end of the War? 32,200 km of trenches had been dug in the entire world in WWI.
Write 3 sentences to explain ‘NO MAN’S LAND’ An area where lots of soldiers died and an area. It’s an area between the two front lines and was known as No Man’s Land. The area is always full of dying and dead soldiers laying on the ground.
Write 3 facts about gas masks used in WWI and copy and paste a pic of one to complete. The gas mask in WWI was the first gas mask ever made. (Not Including The Plague Doctor’s Mask.) It was made after when they were fighting with chemicals and gasses that could kill them if they come in contact with it or breathe the air around it. The gas mask was made from a pad of cotton soaked in water or soda.

WoW! You've packed in a lot of information. The question about the fronts was misleading, 'cos there were actually only 2 major fronts where most of the fighting took place in WWI (the Eastern Front and the Western Front). Here's to more peaceful times!:-)
