The Amazing Assembly

Welcome everybody to my blog,

Room 6 hosted an awesome assembly on Friday the 23 of May. We did a play, a thank you for Miss Scott and said happy birthday to Mr Roberts. We only had 14 minutes for our assembly so we made a quick play. First we did the NZ National Anthem. Then we sang Mr Roberts happy birthday! After that Mr Roberts presented certificates to 2 people in each class.

Then we did the amazing play. It was about the first day of high school. Susie was the main character. She had a best friend called Mea. There was a teacher and a student teacher and it was the first day. There teacher name was Miss P and their student teacher name was Miss J. The teacher asked what's Susie's and Mea's name. After that they went to the science table and explained their knowledge about earth science. The kids were geologists. Some talked about what they learnt at Hornby Primary School. Ken said that sedimentary rocks are soft and may contain fossils. Then Harmony said about metamorphic rock. She said that "Metamorphic rocks are made by lots of heat and pressure." Konner talked about igneous rock. They are lava rocks that are made in volcanoes. After that the bell rang for morning tea.

Susie and Mea got their lunch box then walked to the Cafe. Then froze. The narrator walked to the front and so did the bullies. They introduced the bullies and there name. Claire ( Finau), John (Truby). They said that John and Claire don't like people who are better than them. They like to be better than everyone. So they decided to try and bully Susie and her friend Mea. After that everyone unfozed Mea and Susie were walking and talking with their lunch box then Claire and John pushed them. The kids on the table stand up and was shocked.

"Hahahah shame," Said John

"Next time get a bib you baby," Said Claire

After that the bullies got in trouble because of Miss P and she heard everything. She told the bullies to say sorry to Susie and Mea. They Bullies were in the library thinking about what they done. And Susie made friend with the other student on the table.
