Water Into Colour Painting

 Welcome to my blog,

Today I'm going to tell you some technique I used for water colour painting. We had to use technique like layering or glazing. The easiest one is movement because all you have to do is brush strokes. There are many techniques to use but we only use 9 to keep it simple.

The first thing to do is add a little water colour paint. Then put some water on  it until it has the intensity you have. Having less dilution gives you more paint but it can look more like water the more you put. Glazing is another good and easy technique. Its easily layer of transparent colour is washed over a previous dry layer of paint.

Layering is also a pretty easy thing to do because you just have to paint something random and add another paint when it drys. When water colouring you need to tone a couple things like making it darker. Or making it way lighter.

Sometimes when water colouring you need to add some intensity to your work or lower intensity. Like shadows and stuff. Tinting is the same as intensity like adding more water to weaker the intensity so its more lighter than dark. Movement is basically putting water on your paper and putting the water colour and make it move.

Holiday Blog

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today I'm going to be talking about what I did over the holidays. It was very fun but felt like it only lasted for 3 days. I'm hoping that school will end quickly like the holidays. Term 4 has been great so far and I'm hoping we will do something fun this term. But anyways lets get into it.

During the holidays I mostly played video games with my friends. I would grind for hours at a time until I get bored. Which I would watch a movie or some anime. We would grind until we got lots of wins or until we got to max level.

Over the holidays I haven't really done anything physical but I have played games like hide n seek and tag. Tag requires lots of running and hide n seek only takes a bit of running and strategy to find the best hiding spot. I would mostly win hide n seek because I would find the best spots. Tag is another game I'm good at because I can run pretty fast and I'm really good at doge people.

I haven't really learned much things over the holiday but I have learnt countless strategy to winning games and stuff. Hide n seek requires a little bit of thinking because you have to think of a good spot or find one. Some video games also requires some thinking like League of Legends or Clash of Clans. You have to think of a strategy like which path to take in League for the best chance of you winning. Or attacking other bases in Clash thinking of a way get a full 3 stars. Which is harder later game because you need a lot of strategy to just get a 2 star.

The things I like in the holidays were mostly watching anime or YouTube. Video games are my main source of entertainment so when I get bored I just watch random things I find on YouTube or finish an entire series. I also like playing with my friends all day and eating lots of McDonald to win a Monopoly prize.

The most emotional thing that happened in the holiday is ep6 of Squid Game. I cried after finishing the episode. It was one of the first shows to get me that emotional in a long time. There was 3 parts of the episode that made me cry. One of them was when the character Oh Il-nam died which broke me. Next Ali's dead then 240 died. I forgot her name but her death was one of the emotional one.

I did a lot of stuff over the holiday, I've gotten better at video games a lot because I had a long holiday to practice some skills I couldn't do. I'm already natural gifted at playing video games so what ever game I play I can learn very fast and learn from my mistakes. Which always lead me to victory.

Back to School

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today I'm going to be sharing with you my experience with going back to school. Now going back to school is tiring because I have to wake up at 7 in the morning and I hate waking up early. Then I take a shower and get ready for school. Overall going back to school hasn't been that bad. But sports have been a little boring. We can still do normal sports but not with the sports teacher. Which lead to some confusion with the rules.

The Empty Pot

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

This is a folktale about a boy who lived in China. The emperor wanted a successor to be the Emperor. So all the children in the country went to his Palace and got flower seeds. Each one had to plant the seeds and grow a lovely flower. The Emperor loved flowers so that's why the Children had to plant flower seeds. Ping tried to grow the flower seed for months and changed the soil and a new pot for it. But it didn't grow. Every kid brought their Flowers to the Emperor's Palace. The Emperor looked at the flowers one by one until it was Ping's turn. Ping told the Emperor the truth about the flower. He was the only one that was honest because all of the flower seeds were cooked. The other kids used different flower seeds and Ping was chosen to be the Emperor.

Scavenger Hunt

Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today I'm going to be sharing with you my lockdown experience. There were some things that happened in lockdown when my parents started a business. This wasn't their first one as they made one in the Philippines which was very successful.

Here is my lockdown experience

Lockdown hasn’t been that bad for me. Lockdown has been fun. Work has been easy so I got to finish them quickly but, I couldn’t finish it all because I found the work late. Overall, my mental well-being was great. As I got to play video games, bridge watch some shows. My physical well-being is also great because sometimes I got to play ping pong with my parents and sister.

Math Games Recommendation

 Welcome Viewers,

Today is a little different. I'm going to do a quick blog about recommended which math game is the best. Now, in my opinion, the Fast Math game is the best. Because it helps you think fast and improve your reaction time. Like 7+8=11? Yes or no. If you want to try it out for yourself https://www.ducksters.com/games/fastmath.php

In general, it's a pretty easy game. But I recommend it if you are 9 and over. Unless you are really good at math then you can try it out.

Thank you for reading my blog post. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, hope you enjoyed my quick post.

Impasto Painting

Welcome viewers to my blog,

Today we are going to be defining and answering some impasto questions. First, we need to define what is an impasto painting. It is a technique of laying on paint so that it stands out from a surface. Its is something like this:

Now some people might be asking how does the impasto technique express emotion. It express emotions by the warm and calming colors. Quick fact Vincent van Gogh wasn't the first one to use the impasto technique. The first one to do it was Rembrandt in 1659.

Doing an impasto painting is pretty easy just layer paint randomly. If you want to do something like Vincent van Gogh starry Night Painting. The one I showed you as an example.

Thank you for reading my blos post. Please leave a comment and don't forget to add some feedback. I hope you learnt something about the impasto technique. Maybe you should try it out its really easy to do. Just put paint and layer it as much as possible untill you want to finish.

Fiji Wins Gold in Rugby

Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Olympic Gold was won by Fiji last evening (NZ time). The game was against NZ who ended up winning the Silver Medal. Fiji’s captain is Jerry Tuwai said this win was very special because they had to go into lockdown after Easter. They have not seen their family for over 20 weeks. They spent most of that time shut up in a hotel in Suva. For training, they built an old homemade training in a gym in the garage. Even though their training conditions were bad they still managed to win the gold medal.

When they were on their way to Japan the Fijian team got stuck on a cargo flight along with a few dozen crates full of frozen fish. This made for team bonding.

Here are the images of the winners.

Setting Our Hands on FIRE!

 Welcome,

Today I'm going to be telling you my experience by setting my hands on fire. People might say it dangerous and it's scary. And they are right. But at least give it a try. So let's get into it. Before we set our hands-on fire we have to go through safety rules.

We need safety glasses. Listen for the intrusion if you want to get rid of the fire and change your position to a stop. Sadly I don't have a video of it so it's hard to finger out what I'm saying. Anyways here are the things you need to set your hands on fire.

First up get safety glasses and wet your hands in water up to your elbow. Next scoop some bubbles made from gas. Make sure you get lots of bubbles just in case. Next, you stand straight and move your hands away from your face. Then you get someone to light the bubbles on fire and enjoy. It'll hurt like fire but you can stop whenever you want. If you feel like stopping, stop.

Here is the video

I hope you enjoy. I got nothing much to say so goodbye.

Kete/Steam Short Update

Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today I'm going to be updating you about my group flying bus. We are nearly done with the bus. All we need are the wheels the painted windows. We could finish this on Wednesday if we are productive enough hopefully.

Anyways that's the update see you later.

Coding Class

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

In my class, I've been coding a game in Scratch. Inspired by osu I wanted to make a whole game about it. the game is not fully finished yet but hopefully, I can finish it before next week. It has been a challenge to find a code that works but it was a learning experience.

Here is the demo.

Kete/Steam

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today I'm going to be sharing with you my progress with my kete/steam. We are trying to find ways to help world problems. I decided to pick transportation because it was going to be the easiest, and I already have an idea in mind.

I contributed to my group as a leader and hard worker. I'm currently leading the 3D design on the bus with Khiel while Joshua is doing something else.

The idea I had sparked more ideas after when I got into a group. We all decided on a Flying solar and hydro-powered bus. There were many problems we encountered but we mostly found ways to solve them. But solving them wasn't easy. We also have a big problem. Expenses. Solar panels are expensive. Even if you buy an average solar panel it will cost about $10,000. And the good ones are even more expensive.

The bus is going to be made of recyclable material mostly paper because they have the most air resistance. They are also used to make parachutes. And paper is not expensive you can get them from the trash or buy 100 pieces of paper for $5 which is very cheap.

Fast Reaction

Welcome To My Blog,

Yesterday and today we practiced our reaction time to see who has the fastest. And before we tried it I knew I already had a fast reaction time. Reaction time is how many seconds it takes for you to react to something. Like when something falls you might have a quick reaction to running and catching it. Some people would stand still and think about what to do then it drops.

Getting a fast reaction time is not easy. You have to think fast. You know a common phrase, "Think fast" then they throw a ball at you or something you could catch. I usually catch it or try but miss it. But it does help your reaction time. The more you practice the faster you can think.

So first I wanted to drop the ruler on Khiel's hand to see how fast he can catch it. I planned to try and distract him then drop it at an unsuspecting time. Like I talked to him about when I'm going to drop then I dropped it than catch it. Then quickly I dropped it again making him react really quickly before it falls. Sadly he didn't react quickly so he caught it on 2.9 or 30.

Here is my fastest reaction time on a reaction test.

Growing Bacteria and Fungi

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today I've grown some Bacteria and Fungi. We used some agar jelly inside the petri dish. We have to find something to create bacteria like fingernails or your hands. For my first one, I used my phone & phone case, the top of a very old dirty bucket, a Chromebook, and a science desk. All of them are really dirty and haven't been cleaned in a long time.

Here is a video of me explaining what I've made.

Art Logo

Ohayou and Konnichiwa Viewers to my blog,

This term in art we have been trying to make our own logo. Logos are pretty hard to come up it. If you make a logo that doesn't match your company objective. Like if you make a nature logo and you are actually a tech company people will %100 mistakes it for being a nature company.

I tried to make a logo but it was really hard. I started moving closer towards Minecraft inspiration because there is so many different stuff you could make. From the community who drew real-life swords in Minecraft.

After when I finished I went to the teacher to let my logo be revered. After that, we have to push the pencil really hard to replicate it on the lino to crave it. But first, we have to use a permanent marker on the pencil so it won't be rubbed out while we crave it out.

Thank you for reading my blog post. Please leave a comment and don't forget to add some feedback. I'll see you next time.

Microscope

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

For the first time in my life, I looked through a microscope. Most of the things I've seen in the microscope were gross. Like a honey bee's legs. When zoom in 40 times it looked really gross. We also looked at the onion epidermal cell.

I first looked through the microscope I saw some small cells. But what I didn't realize was we didn't set it upright. After when we set it up probably we saw some gross things. Like a honey bee's legs. When you zoom it to the max you can see more hair cells and stuff.

The onion epidermal cells are like walls like this one.

Binary

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today we are going to be talking about binary. Binary is quite simple. But for some people, it could be really hard. Binary is quite confusing for me, even though I like to learn about computers. There are so many ways the binary alphabet is defined. But we are only doing 5 to write binary letters in our first lesson. We calculate them by using math.

First, we got 16 then 8, 4, 2 and 1 on the very left. The way binary works is we can write letters if it calculate to that number. For example 00001 =A which is the first letter of the alphabet. It has a value of 1. B has a value of 2 and it goes on repeatedly. It's basically turning the number if it can equal the value towards the number we're on.

Here is the ASCII binary alphabet

A= 1000001 B= 1000010 C= 1000010 D=100100 E=100101 F=100110 G=1000111 H=100100 I=1001001 J=1001010 K=1001011 L=1001100 M=1001101 N=1001110 O=100111 P=101000 Q=1010001 R=1010010 S=1010011 T=10100 U=1010101 V=1010110 W=1010111 X=1010111 Y=1011001 Z=1011010

Now I'm going to write my name in binary and a sentence.

1001000 1000101 1001100 1001100 1001111 00101100 1001101 1011001 1001110 1000001 1001101 1000101 1001001 1010011 1000001 1000001 1010001 1001111 1001110 = Hello, my name is Aaron.

Thank you for reading my blog post. Please leave a comment and don't forget to add some feedback. And always have a good day.

Art Logo's

Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today I'm going to be sharing with you my work with logos. There were many logo's to choose from. But I chose the logo's I like. All of them are not logos but it still counts. We have to add at least 3 and pick 3 favourite logos.

Here are my three logos

Demon Slayer

The font and the logo just match with the anime. And the moon represents the levels of how strong the demons are in the show. I really love this show as with the logo. The fonts also matches with the show intension and plot.

Dream

First, you would see a horrible drawn smiley face. It's pretty basic. But it represents much more. The person behind the logo is a really good Minecraft player. The logo message is that never judge a person by its cover.

Mr Beast

One of the biggest growing YouTuber today. He is really rich and gives away lots of money. He also gives lots for the homeless and for shelters and donations. And he was the second person to ever eat an expensive golden steak.

Matariki 2021

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today we are going to be talking about Matariki. Matariki is a Maori new year. Every New Zealanders honour Matariki on June 24. Way before the seven stars called Matariki helped the Maori recognise when is winter going to happen. So they could harvest the food plus not undernourish when it's winter.

Here are three facts about Matariki

Since the Matariki stars keep reappearing it signals the beginning of the Māori New Year and winter for the Maori's.

Matariki is a star cluster, not a constellation.

You can see Matariki for yourself outside on June midnight.

Matariki is one of the star clusters near-earth so it's easier to see with your eyes

Taste Test

 Welcome Viewers to my blog,

Today I'm going to be sharing with you my science experiment. The experiment was easier than I expected. We have to do a taste test. We have to identify what food it is. But we have to do it blindfolded and with our nose block.

The method we used was,

Let someone cut up the food for you without you knowing what it is.

Get a partner to feed you the food.

Blindfold yourself and block your nose.

Guess what it is.

It's your partner's turn.

After when they finish your done.

As you can see it was really easy. But guessing what is the food is harder than you think. But when I tried the apple was the easiest thing to guess. Maybe because the flavour is unique or I ate too many apples and remembered the flavour.

Next, we did a tongue taste. We got three substances and put them on a taste buds area. Then after when we put on a tasting area we have to guess which taste buds is which. Funny story, I put the sugar in the front of my tongue and it was really sweet but really sour so I stood up and walked around for a bit.

Here is the Graph on how many people got a taste correct.
